Here is a story about what the world calls insignificant. To this day no one knows who this man is. But God changed the world through him. The story start with one of the most spiritually significant men in our nation's history. You have never heard of this guy. His name was Mordecai Ham, not a famous guy. He was an America tent revival preacher in the late 1800s, early 1900s. In 1934, he was preaching a tent revival in Charlotte, North Carolina and two 14-year-old boys saw the tent, and noticed the commotion of people. They heard this bold love of the father preaching as they were walking by. They were curious and checked it out. But as they walk up, they saw there were no seats available. But as they began walking away, an usher, whose name no one knows to this day, ran after these two 14-year-old boys and grabbed one of them. He said, "Hey, we can find 2 seats for you boys to sit together." He walked them back and asked a couple people to scoot over so those two 14-year-old boy could sit together. That day they ended up giving their lives to Christ and consecrating themselves to the purposes of God in their generation. One of those boys was a man who we now know as Billy Graham. Billy Graham ended up preaching the gospel to more people than anyone else has ever preached to in the history of the world. Tens of millions of people were caught up into the kingdom of God under the preaching of Billy Graham. The other boy's name was Grady Wilson. He was the man that ended up helping Billy Graham organize all of his evangelistic crusades. That usher changed the world, not Billy Graham, not Grady Wilson, not Mordecai Ham. That usher saw two 14-year-old boys walking away from the faith and said, "Not on my watch, you get back here boys." Your job is not to change the world. Your job is to change somebody's world. And if you're in my generation and up, we got a job to do. Our job is to run into the breach, there has been a breach. Our job is to run into the breach and say, "Not on our watch. Not while we're here. Where are the bullets the thickest? I'm in". It might be your turn to be this guy. Never count yourself out. This man counted himself in for the challenge. 09/07/2026 We live in an age where most everything is digital and encrypted. With present day computers most everything is secure. I have learned that many people who are serving the devil are saving this secure data to crack in the future because of the new technology called quantum computing. These computers will do in seconds what current computers take years to do. It is a race to get this new technology operational. Why is this important? From our banking to our Zelle payments, are all at risk. Our digital private lives will become public knowledge. That is why Peter said: 1 Peter 3:13-18 NIV 13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened." 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 17 For it is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. Peter wants your life to be so Christ focused that there will be no dirt on your digital life to condemn you. They will be forced to lie about you. We all do digital activities of some kind and we need to assume that it could be exposed some day. Will your digital life shine the life of Jesus Christ? P.S. Pray that moral people develop quantum computers first so we have time to prepare our encryption against them and not be hacked by those who hate us. I still believe God even has a handle on this too! 08/18/2026 We talk about living for Jesus which is a good thing. But most people do not want to talk about what happens when we decide to reject him or abuse his gift of grace. Whoever wrote Hebrews laid it on heavy. Grace is not a "Get out of jail free" card: Hebrews 10:26-31 NLT 26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins. 27 There is only the terrible expectation of God's judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies. 28 For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God's mercy to us. 30 For we know the one who said, "I will take revenge. I will pay them back." He also said, "The Lord will judge his own people." 31 It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God. The message says the same thing. Hebrews 10:26-31 The Message 26-31 If we give up and turn our backs on all we've learned, all we've been given, all the truth we now know, we repudiate Christ's sacrifice and are left on our own to face the Judgment—and a mighty fierce judgment it will be! If the penalty for breaking the law of Moses is physical death, what do you think will happen if you turn on God's Son, spit on the sacrifice that made you whole, and insult this most gracious Spirit? This is no light matter. God has warned us that he'll hold us to account and make us pay. He was quite explicit: "Vengeance is mine, and I won't overlook a thing" and "God will judge his people." Nobody's getting by with anything, believe me. We have the ability to break our King's heart. Why should he not get angry at us for not caring. If you truly love someone you will recognize when they put an effort out for you and you will appreciate it. Jesus's death was not like receiving a trinket. He gives you paradise instead of the lake of fire. All he wants is to have a relationship with you. When you have that relationship though, Jesus will shake his head every time when you think of doing something dumb. Jesus is Lord, treat him like he is Lord!!!!!!! 08/15/2026 What would Jesus say about the faith of today's Christian and the church. He definitely would be disappointed. With all the comments people put on social media, you can see the lack of faith. I have even questioned God on his slowness of taking out the bad guys. There is spiritual warfare going out there. Our Admiral God has a battle plan in the works. He would rather take out 1 million bad guys in strategy then take 100 thousand out now. Just as those who have a lower rank in the military, they do not question the Admiral. Since our God is the ultimate strategist, we should trust what he has laid down behind the scenes. If God gave us his plans, the gossipers would reveal them to the enemy. I asked AI to define biblical faith. According to the Bible, faith is the confident assurance in God and His promises, even when they cannot be physically seen. It is active trust in who God is and what He does, rather than just knowing facts about Him. The closest the Bible comes to a direct definition is Hebrews 11:1, Hebrews 11:1 ESV By Faith 11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Other then standing up for the principals of our King, maybe we should be quiet and let God work. So many times we feel we are experts on things but our thinking returns void. God tried to teach this principal to his people to keep their faith alive. Joshua 6:8-11 NLT 8 After Joshua spoke to the people, the seven priests with the rams' horns started marching in the presence of the Lord, blowing the horns as they marched. And the Ark of the Lord's Covenant followed behind them. 9 Some of the armed men marched in front of the priests with the horns and some behind the Ark, with the priests continually blowing the horns. 10 '''Do not shout; do not even talk, Joshua commanded. "Not a single word from any of you until I tell you to shout. Then shout!" 11 So the Ark of the Lord was carried around the town once that day, and then everyone returned to spend the night in the camp. The entire camp did this for 6 days keeping their mouth shut. Our words can diminish the faith of those around us. Even worse they can dishonor the name of God and Jesus. God does not need our advice on anything. When we speak we should say things that honor our Kings name, encourage the faith of the believers around us, and challenge those things that do not represent God's word. Last, but the most important, is to trust God who has full control of what is going on. 07/30/2026 When you chose your friends, do you examine their hearts to see how much they oppose God in their views. In this next election are you going to vote based on how much they follow the principles of God. You will always find faults and problems in anyone you meet. Titus tells us to examine people's hearts before supporting anyone. Titus 1:15-16 NLT 15 Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. 16 Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good. God despises the way you think when it does not line up with the way he thinks. Even if you think a person has good ideas, run from them if they oppose the ideals of God. If you want to anger Jesus, keep voting and hanging around detestable people. If God calls you to witness to these people, God believes that their hearts can be changed. I love godly people because not only are their views more in line with Gods and mine, they have wisdom from the Holy Spirit that makes me want to hang around them. I would love to meet many of you who love the Lord. I bet you are pretty cool. 05/26/2026 When you read the story about David, one of the things I picked up that his men would give their lives up for David. They believed in him. Yet David went through times like this: Psalm 31:9-13 NLT 9 Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am in distress. Tears blur my eyes. My body and soul are withering away. 10 I am dying from grief; my years are shortened by sadness. Sin has drained my strength; I am wasting away from within. 11 I am scorned by all my enemies and despised by my neighbors— even my friends are afraid to come near me. When they see me on the street, they run the other way. 12 I am ignored as if I were dead, as if I were a broken pot. 13 I have heard the many rumors about me, and I am surrounded by terror. My enemies conspire against me, plotting to take my life. I wonder if President Trump has the same thoughts that David had. He has experienced letdowns by our corrupt judicial system and congress. I myself have seen a lot of the lies and lack of loyalty to this great president. I know he is going to set the record on the attempts on a man's life. All of this because he wants to turn the power back to the people and he is affecting the free lunches that screw the people. I also would like to say these words for our President Trump: Psalm 31:14-18 NLT 14 But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” 15 My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. 16 Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me. 17 Don’t let me be disgraced, O Lord, for I call out to you for help. Let the wicked be disgraced; let them lie silent in the grave. 18 Silence their lying lips— those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly. Whether you are in a position of leadership or not, you may be going through this too. If you love the Lord, these words are for you too. 05/19/2026 When God takes us through our periods of testing, do we look at our God like David does? The first thing was how he sees God: Psalm 18 NLT 1 I love you, Lord; you are my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. 3 I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. (David was corned from every direction by his enemies. It must to have been overwhelming what he went through. He used prayer to communicate with our God to solve this problem) 4 The ropes of death entangled me; floods of destruction swept over me. 5 The grave wrapped its ropes around me; death laid a trap in my path. 6 But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. (I liked the way David described God's reaction when he was coming to his aid. God appears to be angry!) 7 Then the earth quaked and trembled. The foundations of the mountains shook; they quaked because of his anger. 8 Smoke poured from his nostrils; fierce flames leaped from his mouth. Glowing coals blazed forth from him. 9 He opened the heavens and came down; dark storm clouds were beneath his feet. 10 Mounted on a mighty angelic being, he flew, soaring on the wings of the wind. 11 He shrouded himself in darkness, veiling his approach with dark rain clouds. 12 Thick clouds shielded the brightness around him and rained down hail and burning coals. 13 The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded amid the hail and burning coals. 14 He shot his arrows and scattered his enemies; great bolts of lightning flashed, and they were confused. 15 Then at your command, O Lord, at the blast of your breath, the bottom of the sea could be seen, and the foundations of the earth were laid bare. (Don't you believe that our God would do this for us also? If we are living for Jesus Christ I can see this happening for sure. Living for this world would produce a different outcome.) 16 He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. 17 He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. 18 They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me. 19 He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me. 20 The Lord rewarded me for doing right; he restored me because of my innocence. 21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil. 22 I have followed all his regulations; I have never abandoned his decrees. 23 I am blameless before God; I have kept myself from sin. 24 The Lord rewarded me for doing right. He has seen my innocence. (David talks about the characteristics of God here.) 25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. 26 To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. 27 You rescue the humble, but you humiliate the proud. 28 You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. 29 In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. (Just as we should too, David glorifies the name of our God.) 30 God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. 31 For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? 32 God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. 33 He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. 34 He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. 35 You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help[d] has made me great. 36 You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. (I like the confidence God can give you in fighting your battles. I do not think as individuals we should be grinding people into the dust but as a nation serving God, the Iran conflict was justified.) 37 I chased my enemies and caught them; I did not stop until they were conquered. 38 I struck them down so they could not get up; they fell beneath my feet. 39 You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. 40 You placed my foot on their necks. I have destroyed all who hated me. 41 They called for help, but no one came to their rescue. They even cried to the Lord, but he refused to answer. 42 I ground them as fine as dust in the wind. I swept them into the gutter like dirt. 43 You gave me victory over my accusers. You appointed me ruler over nations; people I don’t even know now serve me. 44 As soon as they hear of me, they submit; foreign nations cringe before me. 45 They all lose their courage and come trembling from their strongholds. ( The best way to end a story is by giving thanks and glory to the God of the universe!) 46 The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! May the God of my salvation be exalted! 47 He is the God who pays back those who harm me; he subdues the nations under me 48 and rescues me from my enemies. You hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies; you save me from violent opponents. 49 For this, O Lord, I will praise you among the nations; I will sing praises to your name. 50 You give great victories to your king; 03/31/2026 When it comes to atheists, David said it and God put it in as part of his written word: Psalm 14:1 NLT Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! One thing about not believing there is a God, what you do is not identified as sin and you can do anything you want. But this is only true if God does not exist. Paul says, " Romans 1:20 NIV For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Colossians 1:17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. When we close our minds to God and other things that conflict with our beliefs, they do not exist in our minds. I call it stupidity but David calls these people fools. If I am wrong about God, I have lived my life blessing people and I will just disappear. The atheist on the other hand if he is wrong will spend eternity in hell. I have seen God work too much in my life and others to be fake. Open your eyes and your mind, look around and look up. The Rocky Mountains and other places in the world have God written all over it. Only man can turn it into a dump. You can also see God in the heavens and inside the building blocks of our DNA. Why, because Jesus is Lord!!!!!!! and he does not mind showing off his handiwork. 03/28/2026 With Easter being the 1st Sunday in April 2026. This verse says it all: 1 Timothy 2:5-6 NLT For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. You and I were also born at the right time. JESUS IS LORD!!!!!!! 03/06/2026 While read this verse in Paul's letter I began to think about teenagers: 1 Corinthians 8:2 NLT 2 Anyone who claims to know all the answers doesn’t really know very much. You do not become wise until you realize that there are a lot of things you do not know. You will want to continue to learn new things and take advantage of the good knowledge acquired from the older generations. These are the teenagers who are truly wise especially the one's who have Jesus running their life. Our teenagers are going to be part of running this country soon and I encourage all of you to become wise with Jesus. Maybe you can make godly things happen in this country that my generation never put the effort into. Our motto was "Place head in sand and the problem will go away." This thinking only made the problem worse. Abortion is what it is today because my generation did not take a stand against it. I pray your generation will solve these problems because my generation failed miserably. Jesus even wants to help you succeed! 03/05/2026 When I read these verses from Paul, I really see how awesome you ladies are! Even though men can do what you do, our pride prevents us from performing like you do. I know because my buddy tells me about stubborn husbands in our ministry who do their thing while you wives are praying for him and putting up with his nonsense. You are very noble: 1 Corinthians 7:12-16 NLT 12 Now, I will speak to the rest of you, though I do not have a direct command from the Lord. If a fellow believer has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to continue living with him, he must not leave her. 13 And if a believing woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to continue living with her, she must not leave him. 14 For the believing wife brings holiness to her marriage, and the believing husband brings holiness to his marriage. Otherwise, your children would not be holy, but now they are holy. 15 (But if the husband or wife who isn’t a believer insists on leaving, let them go. In such cases the believing husband or wife is no longer bound to the other, for God has called you to live in peace.) 16 Don’t you wives realize that your husbands might be saved because of you? And don’t you husbands realize that your wives might be saved because of you? Every man who is slow at turning his life over to Jesus should praise his wife for sticking with him until he finally figured out that he needs Jesus in his life too. The world is a better place because of your patience. Men could be as influential as you ladies are, but we let that "I can do it on my own" pride prevent us from being like you. I do know there are men out there who are responsible for bringing their wives to the Lord, but you ladies win this contest hands down. 03/01/2026 Why does seem like God is quiet when we are being tested? Someone had a great analogy for this. I bet everyone of you can relate to this. When you were in high school the teacher would give us all tests. That teacher would be silent while we took the test. The teacher wanted to know what we have learned. So it is the same with God! James 1:3 NLT For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 02/19/2026 We all know about this promise from God: Jeremiah 29:11-12 NLT 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you have been searching after God, I bet many of you have amazing talents that your are getting good at. My buddy without mentioning names is impressed with your accomplishments. God wants this to happen to us just because of how we live our lives for him. The problem that can happen when God blesses us amazingly is that we forget to give credit to the one who gave it to us in the first place. King Uzziah fell into this trap: 2 Chronicles 26:16-21 NLT Uzziah’s Sin and Punishment 16 But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall. He sinned against the Lord his God by entering the sanctuary of the Lord’s Temple and personally burning incense on the incense altar. 17 Azariah the high priest went in after him with eighty other priests of the Lord, all brave men. 18 They confronted King Uzziah and said, “It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord. That is the work of the priests alone, the descendants of Aaron who are set apart for this work. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have sinned. The Lord God will not honor you for this!” 19 Uzziah, who was holding an incense burner, became furious. But as he was standing there raging at the priests before the incense altar in the Lord’s Temple, leprosy suddenly broke out on his forehead. 20 When Azariah the high priest and all the other priests saw the leprosy, they rushed him out. And the king himself was eager to get out because the Lord had struck him. 21 So King Uzziah had leprosy until the day he died. He lived in isolation in a separate house, for he was excluded from the Temple of the Lord. His son Jotham was put in charge of the royal palace, and he governed the people of the land. I know many you have worked to get where you are at today but never forget where your talents came from in the first place. God silently opens doors to our minds and reveals things to us that we many times take credit for. I myself have seen God give me multiple solutions in the last 3 months to solve coding problems that I have been working on for years. It is possible to be blessed and not let pride destroy us. Uzziah's son Jotham proved that this is possible: 2 Chronicles 27:6 NLT 6 King Jotham became powerful because he was careful to live in obedience to the Lord his God. If your pride becomes to big you may face something you do not like Uzziah did. Remember a insignificant shepherd became king of Israel. Only Jesus has his name mentioned more then David in the bible. Do not look down on anyone or you may end up serving them. And for sure do not challenge the rules of our King. I still wonder what was going on Uzziah's head when he went into the temple. Does power warp our thoughts like that. It is probably a good idea that God keeps most of us from get too powerful. 02/13/2026 When all know John 3:16 It really takes love to give up the life of your special son for someone else. Paul is the only one I know who describes how powerful that love is: Romans 8:38-39 NLT 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. We walk away from God. He never walks away from us. If we reject him, he will leave us alone. I know he does not go too far away because I have seen God protect people who appeared to be hopeless but because a single situation occurring in their life, they give their hearts to Jesus. Jesus can forgive us for anything we do to him. But are we ready to serve him and make a life change for him in return. 01/22/2026 When Paul wrote the book of Romans he laid it on the line really quick! Romans 1:18-32 NLT God’s Anger at Sin 18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. {No one has an excuse on not knowing who the God of the universe is. Creation itself with its complexity says, "There is a God!"} 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. 23 And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.{cars, homes, and cellphones} {Now I know why they cannot tell the difference between a man and a woman. I know my dog knows the difference. This also explains why evil is now good.} 24 So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies. 25 They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. 26 That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. {Looks like the male - female relationship is the only thing that is cool in God's eyes}. 28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. {This is why it seems there are more stupid people today then ever. God abandons them with foolish thinking. Without Jesus controlling our lives, we begin to behave like the devil. What a list of sins we try to accomplish without him. The Holy Spirit grants wisdom, something the enemy has lost.} The word abandon was used three times in chapter one. When God abandons you to your sin it is game over for that person. God will even tell you to quit praying for that individual. If only they would realize where they were going. You are right, it does not mean the everyone that does these types of sins are going to hell. My buddy can tell you about a story when he walked through a gay bar in Boulder, Colorado holding his bible in a manner so everyone would notice it. He walked through that place slowly and never said a word then exited it. He waited a bit and soon a man came out. He admitted the God has been convicting him of his sin and soon gave his heart to Jesus. If we do not know if a person is a loss we need to pray for them until God confirms it is over for them. Paul understands the seriousness of our sinning. Jesus mention this too: Matthew 7:13-14 NLT The Narrow Gate 13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. I was taught the "many" is a lot more then a "few". You begin to realize how serious our job is for our King. Anytime you watch people on the street that most are going to hell. Just as Jesus said it would happen. It is a "Victory" though when even one is brought into the fold. Jesus also said, "When you spread my word the percentage of those who are lost will go down." Paul wants use to live for Christ getting rid of sin. He knows sin will drive a wedge between man and God. We do not want to be abandoned but embraced by God. Modeling our lives like Jesus and the shedding of his blood will make God want to embrace us. 01/15/2026 While reading Acts you see how many times Paus was dealing with people trying to destroy him. He spent a lot of time pleading his case while being tossed into prison. Man he sure did have the faith that God would get him through all of this. When he finally got to Rome to speak this is what happened: Acts 28:30-31 NLT 30 For the next two years, Paul lived in Rome at his own expense. He welcomed all who visited him, 31 boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one tried to stop him. What happened in Rome that God did not allow anyone to come against Paul for two years. Was this a blessing from God for all the struggles Paul went through to get here? Or is it that our God has had enough with the crap the enemy tries to push on us? We know God has some big plans as Joel foretold: Joel 2:28 NLT The Lord’s Promise of His Spirit 28 “Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. Most everyone I talk to believe that we are in the final days. The only thing keeping Jesus from returning is Mathew:24:14: Matthew 24:14 NLT 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. There are so many places on the planet that prevent the name of Jesus from being heard. They say that there a 100 million Christians in China. Sound impressive until you realize that it is 10% of the population and it has taken 100 years to get this many because of the enemy. It will take 1000 years to get the rest. God is not going to let this slide. I firmly believe that he is going to do for all the nations of the earth just as he did for Paul in Rome. When God does his great outpouring before Jesus comes back, the word will be unhindered in every corner of the planet. It will be spoken in places like North Korea and Iran. Their governments will not even try to stop what is coming. Jesus loves us that much that he does not want to leave anyone behind. What is sad is that many will still reject Jesus during God's great outpouring. Others though will be gladly accepting what is about to happen. Jesus is Lord!!!!!!! 01/08/2026 When you read Acts, it is like an action story where people are traveling and people are getting saved. The bad guys are trying to get those who are doing God's will and take them out but God is thwarting their plans. Our side is winning then this happens: Acts 15:36-40 NLT Paul and Barnabas Separate 36 After some time Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s go back and visit each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are doing.” 37 Barnabas agreed and wanted to take along John Mark. 38 But Paul disagreed strongly, since John Mark had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in their work. 39 Their disagreement was so sharp that they separated. Barnabas took John Mark with him and sailed for Cyprus. 40 Paul chose Silas, and as he left, the believers entrusted him to the Lord’s gracious care. Why did God put this division among ourselves in here. This is my opinion but when we are asked to work with people to do his will we need to finish the task God requires of us. When we abandon ship it creates distrust in those you are working with. Acts 13:13-14 NLT 13 Paul and his companions then left Paphos by ship for Pamphylia, landing at the port town of Perga. There John Mark left them and returned to Jerusalem. 14 But Paul and Barnabas traveled inland to Antioch of Pisidia. Just as Jesus is willing to give us another chance, Barnabas was willing to give John Mark another chance. Paul was not. It was never mentioned if Paul prayed to God to see what his opinion was on the situation. I believe that Paul was wrong because of what happens later. People can change if they are wrong. The word never mentions John Mark failing again. To prevent distrust among people is to do your job with a grateful heart and actually finish it. Some people will always hate you because of jealousy but only God's opinion matters. People on the whole, will want to work with you if your word and actions mean something. They are all watching you to see how you react to every situation. God is one of them! 01/07/2026 When I read this, it made me exited to help make America "One nation under Jesus Christ" again. Amos 5:14-15 NLT Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of his people. Let us combine forces, living for Jesus Christ, and changing America the Jesus way. Jesus Christ - Commander-in-chief!!!!!!! 12/24/2025 Why is it that the wedding - wine miracle is only talked about in John. John talks more about the spiritual side of Jesus then the other Gospels do. Did this miracle have a spiritual side to it? John 2:1-11 NLT The Wedding at Cana 2 The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration. 3 The wine supply ran out during the festivities, so Jesus’ mother told him, “They have no more wine.” {Did Mary hear from God that Jesus should be told about this problem? } 4 “Dear woman, that’s not our problem,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.” {This next verse makes me feel Mary heard from God. She knew that God would talk to Jesus about his "No" answer.} 5 But his mother told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” {Did God say, "Now, Jesus is that the way to talk to your mother. Why don't we have some fun with this? I want to demonstrate my power and reveal your glory to your disciples." } 6 Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. 7 Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” When the jars had been filled, 8 he said, “Now dip some out, and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So the servants followed his instructions. 9 When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. 10 “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best until now!” {They said the wine was excellent. Like how good was it? Has there ever been better tasting wine than what what served that night? It is hard to outdo our King and his miracles. } 11 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him. This last verse shows why this story was placed in John. P.S. My comments in the verses are not biblical but what I envisioned they could be. I would love to hear your comments. 11/22/2025 When Adam sinned in the garden, God gave a curse about having to work hard. But is it really a curse, maybe God is protecting us against future sin. Look what David did with his free time when he was not with his troops: 2 Samuel 11:1-2 NLT David and Bathsheba 11 In the spring of the year, when kings normally go out to war, David sent Joab and the Israelite army to fight the Ammonites. They destroyed the Ammonite army and laid siege to the city of Rabbah. However, David stayed behind in Jerusalem. 2 Late one afternoon, after his midday rest, David got out of bed and was walking on the roof of the palace. As he looked out over the city, he noticed a woman of unusual beauty taking a bath. David was in a position of power and felt he could do anything he wanted. This same thing can separate us from God if we are not on guard. David sure dropped his guard: 2 Samuel 11:3-5 NLT 3 He sent someone to find out who she was, and he was told, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” 4 Then David sent messengers to get her; and when she came to the palace, he slept with her. She had just completed the purification rites after having her menstrual period. Then she returned home. 5 Later, when Bathsheba discovered that she was pregnant, she sent David a message, saying, “I’m pregnant.” Sin 1. David knew she was married but slept with her anyway. Sin 2. The great cover up. When we try to hide our sin from him, God will thwart our plans to cover it up. He wants us to repent. Sin 3. Destroy whatever evidence is preventing us from covering up our sin. Sin 4. Pretend like nothing ever happened or blame it on someone else. When we start sinning, it can grow just like a snowball rolling down a hill. David sent Uriah to the front lines to be killed and got his wife as his. It was as though David believed he did nothing wrong. It seems that he wasn't even concerned about what God would say about what just did. It appeared that David separated himself from God. God is a God of justice and he used Nathan's rich man -poor man story to wake up David. David was ready to kill the rich man for killing the lamb of the poor man. Sin can do that. It clouds our judgement of whats right and wrong. When Nathan said, "You are that rich man", it was like being hit in the head with a hammer. David realized he was wrong. Just like Jesus does, God forgave David: 2 Samuel 12:13-14 David Confesses His Guilt 13 Then David confessed to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan replied, “Yes, but the Lord has forgiven you, and you won’t die for this sin. 14 Nevertheless, because you have shown utter contempt for the word of the Lord by doing this, your child will die.” Even though Jesus forgives sins there is the consequences of sin that have to be dealt with. David had to deal with this: 2 Samuel 12:11-12 NLT 11 “This is what the Lord says: Because of what you have done, I will cause your own household to rebel against you. I will give your wives to another man before your very eyes, and he will go to bed with them in public view. 12 You did it secretly, but I will make this happen to you openly in the sight of all Israel.” The consequences of our sin can even ruin our future blessings that God was going to give us: 2 Samuel 12:8-10 NLT 8 I gave you your master’s house and his wives and the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. And if that had not been enough, I would have given you much, much more. 9 Why, then, have you despised the word of the Lord and done this horrible deed? For you have murdered Uriah the Hittite with the sword of the Ammonites and stolen his wife. 10 From this time on, your family will live by the sword because you have despised me by taking Uriah’s wife to be your own. We have to keep Christ in our minds to prevent things like this from happening. It is so easy to fall into these kind of traps and do sins like David did. So stay on guard. Our awesome God can still bring glory to his name even in our failures. With all the pain David went through, much of Psalms was written by him that honor our God's name. You can even be sent to prison for a sin and still glorify the name of Jesus just by witnessing to other prisoners. Your life will never be a waste if you give your heart to Jesus. He can use you anywhere! Jesus still "King of kings"!
