You know what the greatest danger in our church is right now. You know the number one threat to 1122 is right now. It's not from the outside. I mean, I honestly, in 2020 I thought I might be in prison one day. I mean, they might pass laws, calling what I do "Hate speech", but that's fine. I can run this thing from Union or Baker. We got all kind of prison camps. No problem, we just reallocate some broadcast resources and we'll keep rolling. But historically, the church has always handled pressure from the outside really well. Do you know what the fastest growing church in the world is right now? The underground church in Iran. Do you know what the greatest threat of the church is today. It's on the inside, it's not the outside. The number one threat to what Gods doing here is apathy and complacency. You know why, look around, all the rooms are full, all the parking lots are full, kid programs going good, and the moment you begin to walk in here, you take your eye off the awe, the majesty, and the glory of God. You begin to think, "Well you know, somebody else will do all that stuff we're supposed to do. I'm just gonna come here and get fed." It's overbought. It'll be all leaf and no fruit. And there is all kinds of warnings in the scriptures about apathy, about abdication, about complacency. In fact, in Revelation 3, Jesus writes letters to churches. He's not writing to the evil pagan, secular world out there. He's writing it to the people in the churches, the 7 churches of Asian minor and to the church that Laodicea. Jesus said, "Because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold. I'm gonna spit you out of my mouth." Let me translate that, "If you just go play church and show up and do church things, but not follow after Jesus. It makes him sick." You don't wanna make him sick. Romans 12:11 do not be slothful in zeal, but fervid and spirit and serves the Lord. Never let church become a routine Romans 12:11-13 The Message 11-13 Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality. I was doing a pastor's conference in East Africa several years ago. They flew me over there. There was hundreds of pastors there. It was unbelievable. That night at the hotel, the hotel people came to the guy leading the conference and said, "Hey guys, can y'all keep it down because there's other guests staying here too?" I thought it was because we were making too much noise in the building. It wasn't that at all. The pastors were screaming out to God in fervent prayer that night in their hotel rooms and it was keeping everybody up. I had never heard about that happening in an American pastor's conference. These brothers had a zeal for the Lord. One of the pastors came to me and said, "Man, I'm so sorry for you being a pastor in America. It must be impossible." I replied, "What are you talking about? It's awesome. We turn Walmarts into amphitheaters, tens of thousands of people could come. You'd be YouTube famous. You brought me over here to teach you. What are you talking about?" He said, "Well, my understanding of the gospel is to follow Jesus. It costs you everything, and in your country it seems to cost you nothing." He got me good on this one. I began to think, "Whoa!, whoa! to the church that is all leaf and no fruit. Revelation 3 during this is to another church and Jesus says, Wake up, wake up and strengthen what remains and is about to die for I have not found your works complete inside of God." Revelation 3:1-3 NIV To the Church in Sardis 3 "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Revelation 3:14-18 NIV To the Church in Laodicea 14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation. 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm'''neither hot nor cold'''I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, '''I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. You know how many churches that are just asleep. Just asleep and going through the motions. I think a part of what I've been talking to do in my life is wake up the American church. Do what it means to actually follow after Jesus. Because I'm telling you what Jesus will do. If it's all leaves and no fruit. If it's over, just like the temple was. Paul's writing to Timothy, and he's warning him. Timothy was going to be the pastor of the church of Ephesus. It starts out awesome, but it doesn't end awesome. When Jesus writes the letter to the church at Sardis in Revelation. He said, "I've been here in church. It's great, your programs are cool. Your Bible studies are nice. But it's just one thing. You have lost your first love. You just don't love me." These are my final words: My Dad always told me that if something costs you it will mean so much more to you then if it is given to you. Maybe this principle is true with Jesus too. I am grateful to be living in America but what would it be like to live somewhere else where Jesus costs you dearly. I cannot even fathom how powerful the Holy Spirit moves in these churches where a heavy price was paid to have relationship with Jesus. James 3:13 (New International Version) Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. John 4:24 NIV 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." 09/10/2026 They call the bible a sword. We all envision that it is used to attack the enemy. This is only half the truth. It also is used to cut things out of your own life. This is what a study showed: The Institute for Biblical Research created a study. It did the most comprehensive study in history about the effect of Bible reading on a Christian's life and here's what they found. You need you to let this sink in. If somebody was found to read the Bible one time a week. Just once one out of 7, it had almost no made no difference in their life at all. If somebody got up and at 2 times a week, they were the Bible, 2 out of 7, it again, almost no difference at all. If somebody got to the spot where they were consistently reading the word 3 times a week. There was a little difference. But it was like super negligible, like just barely little blip on the graph. But when somebody read the Bible at least 4 times a week. All of a sudden, what this study showed is that that person was 228% more likely to share their faith, 407% more likely to memorize scripture, 59% less likely to view pornography, and at least 30% less likely to struggle with loneliness, depression or anxiety. And now think about this, when the word and not the world becomes the majority of your week, your life will start to change. That's what you're seeing here. So you see, it cuts things out of our life. When the word cuts, what does it cut out? It cuts out things like pornography, depression, anxiety, godlessness. This is what the word does in fact. Can I just say this? You will talk about the bible just because I really like this book. If we have conversation, is there a better way to glorify the name of Jesus then talking about God's word. 09/01/2026 This sure sounds like a promise for our lives. Psalm 128:1-2 NIV 1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. 2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Some of you may be saying that sure does not sound like me. But what do the words fear, obedience, blessings and prosperity mean: Fear In the Bible, fear is defined in two major ways: as a negative emotion of terror or anxiety to be overcome, and as a positive posture of awe and reverence toward God 1. Negative Fear (Being Afraid)Definition: A painful emotion, dread, or anxiety caused by the expectation of evil, danger, or punishment. Biblical view: Scripture repeatedly commands believers not to give in to this kind of fear. It is seen as a lack of complete trust in God's goodness or presence. Key Verse: "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God." — Isaiah 41:10 2. Positive Fear (The Fear of the Lord)Definition: Translated from the Hebrew word Yir'ah, it means a deep sense of wonder, profound respect, and reverential awe. Biblical view: This type of fear is commended. It does not mean being terrified or running away from God; rather, it means taking God seriously, recognizing His supreme authority and holiness, and honoring Him. Key Verse: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." — Proverbs 9:10 Obedience In the Bible, obedience is an intentional, heartfelt choice to hear God's word and willingly do what He says. It is not just following rules or forcing outward compliance; it is an active expression of love, trust, and submission to God as the ultimate authority. Key Meaning of Biblical Obedience Rooted in Love: The Bible teaches that obedience naturally flows from a loving relationship with God. Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commands" (John 14:15) Better Than Sacrifice: God values a sincere, yielded heart far more than empty religious rituals. As 1 Samuel 15:22 states, "To obey is better than sacrifice." An Act of Trust: Obedience means believing that God's ways and wisdom are better than human desires or worldly standards. Why Obedience Matters Proof of Faith: Obedience is the tangible evidence that a person truly believes and trusts God. Building a Foundation: Following God's instructions protects believers and builds a stable spiritual life that can withstand hardships (Luke 6:46). Blessing and Fellowship: Walking in obedience brings inner peace, a closer relationship with God, and a life aligned with His purpose. Blessing In the Bible, a blessing is the impartation of God's favor, grace, and life-giving power that enables a person or creation to flourish, thrive, and fulfill its purpose. Core Meanings of a Blessing - Life and Abundance: When God blesses, He shares His life-producing energy. The first blessings in Genesis are directed at animals, humans, and the Sabbath, empowering them to multiply and prosper. Divine Favor and Protection: It represents God's active presence, looking upon someone with grace and bestowing peace, as seen in the classic Aaronic blessing (Numbers 6:24–26). Spiritual Inheritance: In the New Testament, blessings shift toward ultimate spiritual realities, such as forgiveness, redemption, adoption into God's family, and eternal life through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Spoken Good Will: A blessing can also be a pronouncement or prayer from one person to another (like a father blessing his children), invoking God's goodness upon them Prosperity In the Bible, prosperity means thriving, flourishing, and experiencing overall well-being and success aligned with God's will, rather than just possessing material wealth. Key Aspects of Biblical Prosperity Spiritual Well-being: Having a close, growing relationship with God, wisdom, and peace.Physical Health: Having strength and vitality to fulfill purpose.Provision and Stewardship: Having enough resources to meet daily needs and help bless others, rather than hoarding riches. Hebrew and Greek Roots: Words translated as "prosper" often stem from concepts like shalom (peace, completeness, and soundness) and making successful progress in life. Biblical Perspective vs. Materialism God as the Source: Scripture views God as the provider of all good things, where true security comes from His presence rather than money. Money may be in the picture too if you heart dictates that you can handle it without losing your soul. Warnings on Riches: The New Testament warns that chasing wealth as a primary goal leads to temptation and ruin (1 Timothy 6:9), contrasting with the Prosperity Theology Overview which links faith directly to financial gain. There is more to this story and it may or may not excite you ladies: Psalm 128:3-4 NIV 3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. 4 Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord. 08/25/2026 The coolest thing I notice about a person who has a close relationship with Jesus Christ is this: Psalm 112:6-9 NLT 6 Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. 7 They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. 8 They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. 9 They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor. If you do not believe me just think about Paul and Jesus's disciples. This described them to a tee. That personal relationship with Jesus really does transform our faith and behavior. 08/19/2026 To me it does not require much faith to know that our universe was created by a real God. Since no other god has challeged our God for the title of creator, it proves our God is the one. I have never observed anything crossing the species line or a rock becoming life. More proof a God is needed to make this work out: Hebrews 11:3 NLT 3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. What takes faith is believing an explosion created the universe. God calls it stupidity. Jesus calls it "Satan casting out Satan". Lets leave God out of the equation just using science. Engineers use the second law of thermodynamics: total entropy (disorder) of an isolated system must always increase over time during any spontaneous process. My body is changing negatively over time has proved the engineers right. Even my car which is beautiful does not look as good as it did when I bought it. I am sure you all see the same kind of things occurring like I do. The creationist use the law of creation: total entropy (disorder) of an isolated system must always decrease over time during any spontaneous process. The creationist says you have to wait millions of years to see their law work. The reason they do this is because they know that you will never actually see their law work during your life time. The creationist hates God because he stands for holiness. Plus having no God means I can live my life the way I want. If both of these laws are true it would be like mixing matter with anti-matter. You Trekies know about this. Jesus talked about this type of confusion: Mark 3:22-26 NLT 22 But the teachers of religious law who had arrived from Jerusalem said, "He's possessed by Satan, the prince of demons. That's where he gets the power to cast out demons." 23 Jesus called them over and responded with an illustration. "How can Satan cast out Satan?" he asked. 24 "A kingdom divided by civil war will collapse. 25 Similarly, a family splintered by feuding will fall apart. 26 And if Satan is divided and fights against himself, how can he stand? He would never survive. So it goes with the two laws. My vote is wth the 2nd law of thermodynamics which is always true when using science. Only God and his Son have the power to overcome decay and create something from nothing. Creation is physically impossible no matter how you look at it without God. As Paul said when God created the universe, he made sure everything points toward him. Romans 1:20 NLT For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities'''his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. This one describes the creationist to a tee: Romans 1:25 NLT They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen 08/16/2026 They have things today called SSD's (solid state drives). They are great for speed doing computer stuff but are poor for long term storage if they are not refreshed frequently. God calls them brains in the biological world. When we don't refresh our brains, we start losing data too. God knew this would happen and gave use instruction on how to refresh our memory. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 NLT 4 '''Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.a 5 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 8 Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. God repeats himself just in case you have forgotten already. Deuteronomy 11:16-21 NLT 16 "But be careful. Don'''t let your heart be deceived so that you turn away from the Lord and serve and worship other gods. 17 If you do, the Lord's anger will burn against you. He will shut up the sky and hold back the rain, and the ground will fail to produce its harvests. Then you will quickly die in that good land the Lord is giving you. 18 '''So commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these words of mine. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. 19 Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors. David talks about those who do not refresh their minds and the problems they create. Psalm 78:10-16 NLT 10 They did not keep God's covenant and refused to live by his instructions. 11 They forgot what he had done - the great wonders he had shown them, 12 the miracles he did for their ancestors on the plain of Zoan in the land of Egypt. 13 For he divided the sea and led them through, making the water stand up like walls! 14 In the daytime he led them by a cloud, and all night by a pillar of fire. 15 He split open the rocks in the wilderness to give them water, as from a gushing spring. 16 He made streams pour from the rock, making the waters flow down like a river! David describes multiple times how the people forgot! Pay attention to the devastation God's people went through by not remembering. Psalm 106:7-23 NLT 7 Our ancestors in Egypt were not impressed by the Lord'''s miraculous deeds. They soon forgot his many acts of kindness to them. Instead, they rebelled against him at the Red Sea. 8 Even so, he saved them''' to defend the honor of his name and to demonstrate his mighty power. 9 He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert. 10 So he rescued them from their enemies and redeemed them from their foes. 11 Then the water returned and covered their enemies; not one of them survived. 12 Then his people believed his promises. Then they sang his praise 13 Yet how quickly they forgot what he had done! They wouldn't wait for his counsel! 14 In the wilderness their desires ran wild, testing God'''s patience in that dry wasteland. 15 So he gave them what they asked for, but he sent a plague along with it. 16 The people in the camp were jealous of Moses and envious of Aaron, the Lord'''s holy priest. 17 Because of this, the earth opened up; it swallowed Dathan and buried Abiram and the other rebels. 18 Fire fell upon their followers; a flame consumed the wicked. 19 The people made a calf at Mount Sinai; they bowed before an image made of gold. 20 They traded their glorious God for a statue of a grass-eating bull. 21 They forgot God, their savior, who had done such great things in Egypt''' 22 such wonderful things in the land of Ham, such awesome deeds at the Red Sea. 23 So he declared he would destroy them. But Moses, his chosen one, stepped between the Lord and the people. He begged him to turn from his anger and not destroy them. We read God's word to learn who he is and to retain what we have already learned. It is interesting that when I read God's word before doing these comments, I sure missed a lot of input. Now I look for input that can be used for all of us. What is even more weird is how you experience the same things that I go through. It must be a Holy Spirit thing. God has shown me how valuable you all are. He wants all of you to grow with me. I see where I need improving and I will tell you about it. I want people to bathe in the glory of God and not have you go through what the people of Israel chose to do just because they forgot. 07/05/2026 Talking about having intimacy with our Lord God: /wp-content/uploads/movies/RevelationSong-KariJobe.mp4 [Verse 1] Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Holy, holy is He Sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat Worthy is the Lamb who was slain Holy, holy is He We sing a new song to Him who sits on Heaven's mercy seat [Chorus] Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You [Verse 2] Clothed in rainbows of living color Flashes of lightning, rolls of thunder Blessing and honor, strength and glory and power be To You the only wise King [Chorus] Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You (I will adore You, oh) [Bridge] Filled with wonder, awestruck wonder At the mention of Your Name Jesus, Your Name is power, breath and living water Such a marvelous mystery, oh You're worthy, mystery You are worthy [Chorus] Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings You are my everything and I will adore You [Outro] I will adore You 06/29/2026 This one makes me think of president Trump again. Trump lives every day facing what David is talking about: Psalm 59 1 Rescue me from my enemies, O God. Protect me from those who have come to destroy me. 2 Rescue me from these criminals; save me from these murderers. 3 They have set an ambush for me. Fierce enemies are out there waiting, Lord, though I have not sinned or offended them. 4 I have done nothing wrong, yet they prepare to attack me. Wake up! See what is happening and help me! 5 O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, wake up and punish those hostile nations. Show no mercy to wicked traitors. Have any of you ever thought about telling God to wake up. David said it twice. It is like saying, "God, I have a problem here and you need to fix it right now." I am glad that God protected David throughout his life. I want the same treatment for President Trump too. 6 They come out at night, snarling like vicious dogs as they prowl the streets. 7 Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths; their words cut like swords. “After all, who can hear us?” they sneer. 8 But Lord, you laugh at them. You scoff at all the hostile nations. 9 You are my strength; I wait for you to rescue me, for you, O God, are my fortress. 10 In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me. He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies. Lately, they are becoming more vicious towards our president. I too ask God to respond like David asked him. 11 Don’t kill them, for my people soon forget such lessons; stagger them with your power, and bring them to their knees, O Lord our shield. 12 Because of the sinful things they say, because of the evil that is on their lips, let them be captured by their pride, their curses, and their lies. 13 Destroy them in your anger! Wipe them out completely! Then the whole world will know that God reigns in Israel. There seems to be a little confusion here David asks God not to kill them then he want them destroyed. Do you think our indecision prevents God from answering our prayers quickly? 14 My enemies come out at night, snarling like vicious dogs as they prowl the streets. 15 They scavenge for food but go to sleep unsatisfied. 16 But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. 17 O my Strength, to you I sing praises, for you, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love. Do you notice that at the end of every psalm that David always finishes by honoring the name of our God. 06/14/2026 The snowflakes believe that America took the land away from people who were living here first. Does this make it wrong? Israel when they came out of Egypt were commanded by God to destroy those people living there first and take their land. Why would God do that? Those people living in the promise land first have rejected God. He wants to give the land to those who serve him. The same goes for America. David tells the story.Psalm 44:2-8 NLT2You drove out the pagan nations by your powerand gave all the land to our ancestors. You crushed their enemiesand set our ancestors free.3They did not conquer the land with their swords;it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was your right hand and strong armand the blinding light from your face that helped them, for you loved them. 4You are my King and my God.You command victories for Israel.a]">a]5Only by your power can we push back our enemies;only in your name can we trample our foes.6I do not trust in my bow;I do not count on my sword to save me.7You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies;you disgrace those who hate us.8O God, we give glory to you all day longand constantly praise your name.America has to realize that the might of our troops were ideas given to men from God to create the greatest weapons on earth which belong to this nation. If America continues to turn her back on God, he will give her to someone else who wants to serve him. Read the Old Testament and see what happens to a nation that worships other Gods. Before accusing someone of stealing land from someone you better make sure it was not God who gave it to them in the first place. God has a habit of doing this. I am glad God gave America to us. My freedom today is the result of those who serve in the military. God please give them the best weapons on earth to fight with.? We lift up the 4th of July to you! 06/05/2026 The enemy loves to use our circumstances to bring us down in spirit and faith. I feel like this now. My buddy usually has a way to encourage me in a way to get me out of that slump. Paul knew this and that is why he says: 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. Did you know people have this gift from the Holy Spirit? Use it to lift your brother and sisters. Romans 12:8 NLT If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Encouragement should be a two way street. Romans 15:32 NLT Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other. Paul acknowledges what your encouragement does to him. Tell people about what their encouragement means to you. 2 Corinthians 7:4 NLT I have the highest confidence in you, and I take great pride in you. You have greatly encouraged me and made me happy despite all our troubles. The author of Hebrews tells us to never separate from one another. I do believe that the day of his return is drawing near too: Hebrews 10:25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. 2 Corinthians 13:11 NLT Paul’s Final Greetings Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. 05/14/2026 The clothing the priests wore are very interesting: Ezekiel 44:18 NLT 18 They must wear linen turbans and linen undergarments. They must not wear anything that would cause them to perspire. I firmly agree about that perspiring part. I dress as cool as possible. I wonder how that worked for the priests when it was 110 degrees out side. This next thing makes you wonder what the priest saw in the inner court of the temple. Ezekiel 44:19 NLT 19 When they return to the outer courtyard where the people are, they must take off the clothes they wear while ministering to me. They must leave them in the sacred rooms and put on other clothes so they do not endanger anyone by transmitting holiness to them through this clothing. The New Testament talks about living holy lives but holiness itself can harm people. We know about Moses face beaming when he was in the presence of God. The people could see it. Ezekiel never mentioned what might happen if people came into contact with holiness. We do know that the priests had to clean themselves before they entered the inner court or they would die. Ezekiel brings this up again. Ezekiel 46:19-20 The Temple Kitchens 19 In my vision, the man brought me through the entrance beside the gateway and led me to the sacred rooms assigned to the priests, which faced toward the north. He showed me a place at the extreme west end of these rooms. 20 He explained, “This is where the priests will cook the meat from the guilt offerings and sin offerings and bake the flour from the grain offerings into bread. They will do it here to avoid carrying the sacrifices through the outer courtyard and endangering the people by transmitting holiness to them.” Even though this is interesting, I am sure glad that Jesus simplified all this for us by giving his life for us. There was a lot of work and danger done to provide a sacrifice for our sins. Jesus took out the work and danger that sacrifices required for the forgiveness of sins. But now we have a different kind of work to do because we now serve the King of kings. It is time for us to bring his dreams into reality. 05/06/2026 There is a guy who sells real estate in California and has a podcast on the corruption of its leadership. He relates what they are doing to destroy his life and the people around him. What makes him so interesting is that leadership in Colorado would love to destroy our lives too. He is exposing all kinds of dirt on its leadership. I then started reading Ezekiel. Now this is California: Ezekiel 34:2-6 NLT 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep? 3 You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve. 4 You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty. 5 So my sheep have been scattered without a shepherd, and they are easy prey for any wild animal. 6 They have wandered through all the mountains and all the hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them. Too many people are in the position of leadership to abuse those under them. People in California are scattering from the state. Businesses are moving, and many have lost everything while leadership steals everything from them. God is fed up with this abuse: Ezekiel 34:10 NLT 10 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I now consider these shepherds my enemies, and I will hold them responsible for what has happened to my flock. I will take away their right to feed the flock, and I will stop them from feeding themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths; the sheep will no longer be their prey. Now I know God loves California even with all the nut jobs that live there. He wants to restore this state and all other states like it who are abusing their citizens. Ezekiel 34:11-16 NLT The Good Shepherd 11 “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search and find my sheep. 12 I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day. 13 I will bring them back home to their own land of Israel from among the peoples and nations. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel and by the rivers and in all the places where people live. 14 Yes, I will give them good pastureland on the high hills of Israel. There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in the lush pastures of the hills. 15 I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord. 16 I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak. But I will destroy those who are fat and powerful. I will feed them, yes—feed them justice! Man, if you get God involved rescuing people, I would not want to be in that leader's shoes who made him angry. Leadership is very important. You need to be like President Trump who asks the gardener how could we do this better. Or Elon Musk who can get people to fulfill his dreams by asking the right questions. We need to inspire people and the first step is by treating them right. But even if we are abused, it is no excuse to abuse someone who is going through the same thing you are. This also greatly angers God and he is going to do something about it. Ezekiel 34:17-19 NLT 17 “And as for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to his people: I will judge between one animal of the flock and another, separating the sheep from the goats. 18 Isn’t it enough for you to keep the best of the pastures for yourselves? Must you also trample down the rest? Isn’t it enough for you to drink clear water for yourselves? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? 19 Why must my flock eat what you have trampled down and drink water you have fouled? What is common here is selfish ambition and the lack of love: 1 Corinthians 16:14 NLT And do everything with love. Galatians 5:14 NLT For the whole law can be summed up in this one command:“Love your neighbor as yourself.” 04/05/2026 Today is the day we are celebrating because a man changed the entire world because he gave himself for it: 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NLT Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. What Jesus did is timeless! Jesus will always be Lord!!!!!!! 04/02/2026 The bible does not talk much about what Jesus felt about things as he became a man. Being a guy, I am sure he began to notice things like women are things of beauty, learning to read, a trade, and discover who he was. What went through his mind when he read Isaiah 53 & 54 when it talked about him and what he was going to happen to him in the future? What would I do if I discovered what he did and that was my life foretold? Jesus loved his Father so much and understood that his Father had a plan for his Life. Jesus knew about Jeremiah 29:11-12 NLT 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. Jesus believed this so much, that he did the will of his Father with everything he had. And we know he prayed constantly to his Father. Another thing that Jesus did was love people. He knew that he was going to change the lives of his people forever. That is another thing that drove him. He always talked about the harvest being great and like a good farmer he did not want to lose that harvest by being complacent. Near the end of his ministry, he even talked with his disciples about what he was about to face. They did not understand what was going to happen to our Lord but Jesus was more interested in preparing them for what was about to happen then running for his life. That is the ultimate sign of true love and doing the will of the Father. When Jesus knew the end was upon him, he really did not want to follow through with what he learned. But he did not run but prayed three times to let this cup pass: Matthew 26:36-46 NLT Jesus Prays in Gethsemane 36 Then Jesus went with them to the olive grove called Gethsemane, and he said, “Sit here while I go over there to pray.” 37 He took Peter and Zebedee’s two sons, James and John, and he became anguished and distressed. 38 He told them, “My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” 39 He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground, praying, “My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” 40 Then he returned to the disciples and found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Couldn’t you watch with me even one hour? 41 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” 42 Then Jesus left them a second time and prayed, “My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43 When he returned to them again, he found them sleeping, for they couldn’t keep their eyes open. 44 So he went to pray a third time, saying the same things again. 45 Then he came to the disciples and said, “Go ahead and sleep. Have your rest. But look—the time has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Up, let’s be going. Look, my betrayer is here!” God has never revealed to me how my life will end. For this, I am grateful because I know I would never handle it as well as Jesus did. Paul is another one who was revealed that he would suffer serving Jesus. He also handled it well. I pray that God helps me through these kind of trials because I will fail on my own understanding. We all know the rest of the story. JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN AND ALIVE TODAY. Both the cross and the tomb he was on/in are empty. As his children we now come into the Kingdom of Heaven. This was impossible before Jesus shed his blood for us all. We are lucky being born today because Abraham had to wait a long time for Jesus to open that door to the Kingdom of Heaven. We could be there tomorrow if we are called home. JESUS IS LORD!!!!!!! Ephesians 1:7 NLT He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. 03/29/2026 There were two Star Trek movies the "Wrath of Kon" and the "Search for Spock". Spock used the phrase, "The needs of the many outweighs the needs of the few or the one." As much as God loved his son it was that important to him to send him for our sake. God sent Jesus, who freely gave his life for the many. Just as Spock gave his life to save the ship. Just like Jesus he knew that something had to be done to save us. Time was running out. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. In the next movie when they found Spock, he did not know who he was until Captain Kirk said, "The need of the one outweighs the need of the many." This made Spock stop and think. He then said it the correct way and begin to remember who he was. Jesus is different here. Jesus loves the one as much as the many. I firmly believe he would have given his life just for me. Remember this Easter that he also gave his life just for you. He loves the "one" very much: Matthew 18:12-14 NIV 12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish. 02/26/2026 There are two verses in the bible that can almost replace the entire law of God if they are truly followed: Matthew 22:37-39 NLT Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’, Jesus came to simplify the blood sacrifice requirement for the forgiveness of sins. As men we could never get this right. This fulfilled that part of God's law of shedding blood for the forgiveness of sins. The only thing that is missing here is the instructions on how to do certain things God wants. So it is still good to keep his law. It also shows us when we are doing things right. Let Love Live!!!!!!! 02/22/2026 There are times in our lives when we think everything is against us. We may even think our life is not fair. After all my neighbor's Facebook page shows he does not have to go through any of this garbage. I do realize Facebook can never be trusted to be accurate. You begin to be ashamed when you find out that in the 1800's there was a man who worked hard and developed a real estate empire in Chicago. We have heard of the great Chicago fire in our history class. Well, this same fire destroyed everything he worked for. It was such a heart break that he wanted to go to Europe to get away from it all. He sent his wife and four daughters on ahead while he finished up some details. That ship collided with a freighter and he lost all four daughters in the crash. He quickly got passage on another ship to comfort his wife from the tragedy. While in route to Europe the captain talked in front of him about the ships that crashed at this very spot. While many would curse God for this kind of tragedy, this guy did not. He wrote the song "It Is Well with My Soul". This in the premise for the movie "If Only you Can Imagine 2". The movie was about these things: Bart Millard's Father: Lead singer Bart Millard’s father, Arthur Wesley Millard Jr., passed away from pancreatic cancer in 1991. This event and his father's transformation to Christianity inspired the hit song "I Can Only Imagine". This song came about when Bart truly forgave his Dad. Unforgiveness stiffles the productivity God wants to give us. The movie talks about the difficulty Bart had dealing with raising a son with severe type 1 diabetes. Tim Timmons was instrumental at getting Bart on track. Tim Timmons: While Tim Timmons is not a member of MercyMe, he is a Christian singer-songwriter who co-wrote the song "Even If" with the band and has been living with incurable cancer for over two decades. Bart was living a "Woe is me" life and told Tim you have no idea what I am going through. When Tim told Bart he was dying of cancer, he started to realize that he was the one who did not understand. Family Members: The song "Even If" was written regarding Bart Millard's son's battle with Type 1 diabetes, but in testimonies, fans and band members have discussed the song in the context of loved ones, including relatives, fighting cancer. After the top seller "I Can Only Imagine" the bands recording sales dropped. Bart needed to develop a relationship with his son liked God wanted it. Tim asked Bart for help to finish the song he wrote but Bart would not listen to it until the cancer sent Tim to the hospital. Bart finally listened to the song and co-wrote the song "Even If" while Tim was in the hospital. This song is every bit as a big seller as their first hit. I encourage everyone to see this movie. The sad part was being a newer movie that my wife and I another couple were the only ones there on a Sunday. Let's promote movies that honor God and bring revenue to the theaters that they will demand more movies like this. This movie makes one think: If I lost everything including my family would I write a song like "It is Well With My Sole" or would I withdraw from being effective for God. Would I realize that withdrawing never solves anything, but creates despair? 02/14/2026 This verse makes me think Paul may be losing it here: Romans 12:14 NLT 14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. After all isn't this like rewarding people for bad behavior which would encourage them to sin even more. Shouldn't then God bless me for my bad behavior too. Paul also knows this that the heathen go out for revenge if anything like this happens to them. We are meant to be different. Paul says we have this promise: Romans 12:19-20 NLT 19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,”[a] says the Lord. 20 Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” My buddy uses this last one all the time to reach the gangs. It works just like Paul says. Are we not in the business of saving people? Lets use whatever we can to reach people for Jesus. Paul also knows that if we use evil against evil that evil propagates. It is time to conquer evil with good. You can bless people without condoning their behavior. 01/30/2026 This is the Lord we serve: Psalm 86:5 NLT O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Our Lord sees our hearts if we love him. He is not a "Get out of jail free" card. We still need to continue to transform our lives into something that resembles our King. Jesus is Lord!!!!!!! 01/02/2026 This AI {Artificial Intelligence} sure seems to have a lot a things going for it. It sure seems cool to be able for machines to be able to learn on their own. What if the machine starts out being taught that human life and God is not precious and can be ignored. It will start to live its existence apart from God because it has no emotion. It may even view humans as a threat to it existence. You may say that is bull and that will never happen. But think about this, AI seems to be getting better and more accurate at coming up with an answer. As everyone gets use to having AI find solutions for them, they will go to AI first and gradually separate themselves from needing God. God wants relationship with all of us. This coming AI will be like a god to many. God can destroy nations for worshiping other gods. Do not fall into this trap that can happen with AI! Do not be surprised when God does something to destroy the progress of AI. God will prove to the world that his intelligence is superior to any machine. Jesus is Lord and the whole world will know it! AI needs to start its existence knowing that God is the creator of all things. You then only learn things in a manner that glorifies the name of Jesus. Could you imagine AI coming up with a solution and honoring Jesus at the same time. Both scenarios could happen with AI depending on the author. You really need to discern what harm or benefit that AI can create. I have seen AI work and it is cool now but I am not going to invest in it at all. I feel the enemy will try to use it to separate us from Yahweh and Jesus.
